Podere Brizio
The Podere (German = country estate) "Brizio" is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Valle d'Orcia. The romantic landscape of this region was highly celebrated by painters during the heyday of the Renaissance and offers architectural masterpieces of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The winery is a little pearl tucked away in the southwestern hills of Montalcino, about 40 km from Siena. It is known for its long-lived wines full of finesse and elegance. In addition to a farmhouse with 8 guest rooms, the estate includes 9 hectares of vineyards, most of which are planted with Sangiovese (Brunello).
