The Anthonij Rupert Optima flows into the glass in a saturated red and unfolds a seductive bouquet that immediately captivates every connoisseur. Heavenly aromas of ripe fruit, cedar wood and cocoa, complemented by a fine touch of dried lavender, promise an unforgettable taste experience.
"This complex cuvée, consisting of Merlot (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Petit Verdot (4%), impresses with spicy cedar notes and dark fruit. On the palate, the red wine is silky smooth, superbly balanced and impresses with a long-lasting finish.
The Anthonij Rupert Optima, which matures for 20 months in oak barrels, reveals its full potential both on its own and in combination with culinary delicacies. It harmonizes particularly well with dark meat, a selection of mature cheeses or spicy, savoury dishes.
A multi-layered red wine with fruity aromas, cedar and cocoa notes. It is complex, silky and perfectly balanced and was awarded 4.5 out of 5 John Platter Stars. A wine for true connoisseurs.
