More information about Ayinger spring beer
The air is filled with the scent of countless blossoms, fresh greenery breaks through the winter gray, young leaves are sprouting everywhere, birds are chirping and the sun is shining from the sky - spring is just around the corner and we are celebrating this happy occasion with a very special beer!
The spring beer from the Ayinger private brewery is a naturally cloudy specialty that heralds the arrival of spring year after year. The seasonal beer is brewed in winter and served in March. It carries the lightness and freshness of young spring and delights with a light-footed, full-bodied character and a fine tartness.
Ayinger's spring beer flows into the glass in a shiny golden hue and is adorned with a stately crown of snow-white, fragrant foam. On the nose, the beer presents itself with a yeasty, spicy hop bouquet that tickles the olfactory nerves with aromas of spring blossoms, freshly mown grass and green hop cones. The first sip reveals a slender body with a refreshing character and fine aromas. A soft sweetness that tastes of malt and fruit caresses the palate and combines with notes of spicy yeast, bread dough, dry lemon, sun-ripened grain, delicate caramel and hay to create an irresistible composition. The finish is full of hops and pampers the tongue with subtle bitterness and notes of grass and green hops.
