More information about Ayinger Maibock
After the spring beer comes the Maibock!
As a traditional brewery in Bavaria, the Ayinger private brewery has a well-filled festive calendar The holidays want to be celebrated and every festive day has its own beer Living beer culture in its most delicious form
A favorite in the festive year is the Maibock: The pale beer is lighter than its colleagues, but still scores with the strong character and harmonious aroma balance of a strong beer The Maibock is traditionally served between March and May It is the perfect companion for the exuberant dance into May and sweetens the first warm days of the year with powerful malt, the finest Hallertau hops and an invigorating 6.9% alcohol content
The Maibock from Ayinger flows into the glass in a bright golden yellow The clear body is topped with a stately crown of airy, white foam, which invites you to drink with a wonderful aroma of roasted malt, creamy caramel, ripe pears, freshly mown grass and a little liqueur The first sip reveals a full-bodied beer with a velvety-soft mouthfeel The malt dominates the drinking pleasure and reveals itself in all its facets: Toasted grain meets oven-fresh bread, buttery toffee and white pepper on the palate The hops and some yeast round off the aroma with a hint of grass and a light-footed fruitiness
