Baglio Curatolo Arini

Baglio Curatolo Arini

In the land of sun and wind we continue a family tradition.

Since 1875 our wines tell of a Sicily of light, precious vines, daily commitment, patience and dedication.

The "Baglio" has always been the beating heart of our company. Surrounded by the salt of the Stagnone nature reserve and bathed in sunlight, the tufa walls are discreet witnesses to distant stories passed down through generations: Stories of passion, entrepreneurial vision, knowledge and respect for the territory.

Whether it is for a simple guided tour of the winery to hear the centuries-old history of our family, for a tasting of local wines or for a deeper knowledge of Marsala and its versatility.... by welcoming customers, friends and passers-by to the winery, it is always an opportunity to convey what this place is for us: tradition, family and passion.

Region:

Sicily is the southernmost wine-growing region of Italy and, with its extreme quality offensive in the last 20 years, also the most transformative wine region in the country. Where previously in the 1980s only high yields and mass production were in the foreground, today you see quality-conscious winemakers and exclusive sites that are causing a sensation in the wine world. The focus among Sicilian winemakers is on indigenous white and red grape varieties such as Grillo or Nero d'Avola. In recent years, wines from sites around the Etna volcano in particular have caused a sensation. Here, the red grape variety Nerello Mascalese dominates. Often seen in combination with Nero d'Avola.
