Bandoeng'22 is an award-winning Dutch Pandan liqueur that blends premium Dutch distilling skills with the exotic Asian flavor landscape. In doing so, the name Bandung is an ode to the city of Bandung on the island of Java, which was called the "Paris of Java" in the 1920s.
Pandan is the leaf from the screw palm. The flavor base of Bandoeng'22 is pandan leaves, also known as "Asian vanilla," which are enhanced with an assortment of Asian herbs and spices. Pandan is therefore very popular in Asian cuisine and is used in soups, curries and rice dishes, as well as in the preparation of delicious desserts.
On the nose, the notes of nutmeg, cocoa and hazelnut are particularly noticeable, which are complemented on the palate by nuances of vanilla and cinnamon, creating a unique composition.
Inspired in Indonesia and produced in the renowned, family-run distillery Herman Jansen, which has been dedicated to distilling first-class distillates since 1777.
