Analog beer in a digital world - This is what the young brand AND UNION stands for. In our fast-paced world, things of permanence and duration are slowly being lost. One trend chases the next and innovation seems to be the only thing that still counts. The label AND UNION counteracts this development with rationality, purism, simplicity and the honest expression of natural raw materials.
It is fortunate that the Faust family does not quite live up to its motto "Faust. That stays between us" is not taken quite so seriously. Otherwise, only the people of Miltenberg would be able to profit from the fine beer from Brauhaus Faust. The region is close to the Faust family's heart. This is reflected not only in their great commitment to local associations, Franconian culture and social institutions in the region. The ingredients for the first-class beer also come from Franconian farmers and suppliers.
What is pronounced Berlo is the origin of the present name of the state capital and a little word with which few among us associate anything. This was exactly the reason for Katharina, Christian and Michael to choose this name. BRLO is unoccupied by ideas and images - at least until you enjoy one of BRLO's excellent beers. From then on, the sound of the word alone will evoke wonderful images of cool beer, memories of hoppy pleasures and a great thirst for beer.
Hanscraft & Co.
What do teeth and beer have in common? Christian. Christian Hans Müller, head and heart behind Hanscraft & Co. is actually not a brewer but a dentist. At least he used to be, because now he is a full-blooded brewer. Beer in the club is nothing new, but beer in a fine restaurant is. In addition to the club world, Christian also wants to conquer the upscale temples of pleasure with Hanscraft & Co. As a passionate beer drinker and connoisseur, Christian wants to make beers that can be enjoyed not only with steak from the grill but also with filet in a starred restaurant. Refined, multi-layered beers with ambition and of quality, that is the goal. That, and beers you can drink at the disco. Gone are the days of working on a hangover for the next day while dancing with bad beer, now there's Hanscraft & Co!
Maisel & Friends
If you drink craft beer, you've almost certainly come across this name before. Hardly anyone in the scene is as experimental, open-minded and unbiased as Jeff Maisel, the mastermind behind Maisel & Friends. This must be due to his origins, because Jeff is half American and a Californian beach boy through and through: always in a good mood, ultra friendly and on a first-name basis with everyone. Jeff is the dazzling center of his own brewery and the initiator behind numerous collaboration brews.
The head, heart and hand behind the company "Orca Brau" is Felix vom Endt. The young, wild brewer had a rather unusual start in the illustrious world of beer. Like all his fellow brewers, Felix has always enjoyed drinking beer. Unlike the others, however, he not only drank it, but also wrote about it. Felix founded one of the first beer blogs in Germany and tested himself with wit and thirst through the offer in German beer shelves. At some point, his professional interest in drinking led him to start his first attempts at the kettle. At home at the stove, the future brewer's first creations were born. Via detours, he found his way into the hallowed halls of the Heidenpeters brewery. There he learned everything there is to know about the craft of brewing and the management of a brewery, and also inherited the old brewing system.
Berliner Weisse is Ulrike Genz's favorite beer and the reason she started brewing in the first place. As a Berliner, it was and still is her desire to give back good, traditional beer to her hometown. With a lot of heart and craft, she has built up the Schneeeule label and brews wonderfully refreshing beer and fine creations like the Schampus Weiß Vintage, which was created in cooperation with the Bayerischer Bahnhof and Freigeist Bierkultur in a one-woman process.
Behind the simple name lies a true avant-gardist: Thorsten Schoppe caused a sensation in the beer world years ago and virtually helped lift the craft beer movement out of its cradle. At some point, the inspired brewer had had enough of large-scale brewing and turned to his craft roots and the original art of brewing. Kettle instead of computer was the motto that ultimately led to Thorsten starting his own thing. Since then, the humorous motto "hops, malt and muscle grease" has applied, perfectly describing the small-scale production.
