Single malt peat smoked 44%, overwhelmingly complex, very smoky, peaty and very confident. The typical Scottish peat flavor lingers in the aroma and finish. After 5 years in a heavily toasted AO, it acquires its deep amber gold during a short finish in a used Laphroaig cask.
