More information about Gutmann Weizenbock
The pale wheat bock is brewed especially for the cold season Full-bodied and strong, this full-bodied beer warms even on the coldest of winter days and is great fun to drink The top-fermented wheat is fermented in the bottle and enchants with a diverse range of flavors The craft-brewed beer is made from hand-picked, regional ingredients and with the brewery's own yeast strain
The Weizenbock from Gutmann flows into the glass in a wonderfully strong amber color and forms a stately head of fine-pored, white foam A wheat-typical cloudiness pervades the beer and testifies to the generous use of the yeast bred especially for this beer But the yeast is not only visually noticeable: When poured, the beer exudes a wonderfully fine aroma of spicy yeast The smell of fresh yeast dough and homemade banana bread joins in A light-footed hint of hops brings the aroma of freshly mown grass into play and completes the first impression The first sip reveals a wheat with a voluminous body, lively carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel On the tongue, the Weizenbock initially presents itself as malty: Big yeast notes meet the creamy sweetness of ripe bananas, the aroma of freshly baked bread is added The hops follow on the heels and give the bock a fine citrus note and the green aroma of mown grass A hint of clove complements the play of aromas The finish shows a soft sweetness that is balanced by a subtle bitterness
Very fine!
