More information about Ott Brewery Bock beer
Like all bock beers, this one from Ott is only brewed seasonally The brewery from the Franconian village of Oberleinleiter taps its fine bock just in time for the first cold nights in mid-October and pours it while stocks last The strong beer has a strong 6.8% and also scores with a full-bodied richness of aromatic malts
In the glass, the bock appears in an almost clear, shiny gold color A hint of copper permeates the beer and a white crown completes the look A bouquet of roasted malt and sun-ripened grain fills the air and combines with delicate caramel and fruit notes to create an irresistible mixture The first sip is soft and drinkable: Manifold malt notes ensnare the palate and bring spice, pithy grain and a gentle sweetness The alcohol content contributes a warm fire that spreads from the mouth throughout the body
Oberleinleitner Bockbier heralds the arrival of autumn and is your companion for the cold season! Thanks to its malty character, this strong beer tastes great with hearty winter cuisine Our favorite? Hearty roasted or grilled venison sausages with buttery mashed potatoes and a selection of root vegetables from the oven The fine caramel sweetness of the bock complements the intensely flavoured meat and harmonizes with the earthy aroma of the vegetables
