More information about Wagner Merkendorf Bock Dark
We like the dark season best when it's accompanied by crisp cold, snow and icy blue skies with sunshine We enjoy the winter wonderland outside and, after a few hours in the freezing cold air, look forward to the cozy atmosphere at home We light candles and the fireplace, snuggle up in thick woolen blankets, eat cookies or gingerbread and enjoy the cozy warmth We spend our winter evenings playing cards, eating hearty meals and watching classic films from times long past A cup of tea or mulled wine goes perfectly with this, but we also like to drink one of the bock beers that Franconian breweries brew especially for the dark half of the year
One of these beers is the dark bock from Wagner The Merkendorf brewery pours its strong beer every year from mid-November and prepares us for dark nights and sub-zero temperatures with its 7.5% strong delicacy
The noble bock beer flows into the glass in a shimmering ruby-red shade of brown and is crowned with a fleeting veil of nut-brown foam An aroma of oven-fresh bread, roasted malt, chocolate and orange zest fills the room The first sip is full-bodied and delights with a robust character Dark grain ensnares the palate and combines with delicately melting chocolate, freshly brewed espresso, nuts and honey to create an irresistible mixture Complex, round, fine!
