More information about Brauhaus Faust vintage bock
This bock beer is truly unique: it is brewed only once a year and then stored for twelve weeks in the rock cellar of Brauhaus Faust in Miltenberg before being sold. A beer speciality that is more than worth the long wait!
Brauhaust Faust in Miltenberg has now been in existence for 350 years. Over the years, they have accumulated not only excellent recipes, but also a lot of experience, which is repeatedly rewarded with prestigious awards. Faust's Jahrgangsbock is a prime example of expertise and a special brew for which only natural raw materials are used. This fact leads to the fact that each vintage bock is unique and develops unique flavor facets. To further boost the taste, the bottles are stored in the Faust Schatzkapelle deep below the brewery. Here, the beer matures for three months and develops its intense character.
The Jahrgangsbock flows into the glass in a clear reddish brown and exudes the wonderful aromas of dried plums, dark chocolate, marzipan and sherry from its lightly browned head. The promising aroma is also reflected in the taste: the Jahrgangbock is a full-bodied composition of malty-caramel tones, which comes from the use of dark malts. The roasted malt aroma is joined by fruity notes of dark autumn fruits and a hint of licorice. A hint of chocolate and freshly roasted coffee round out the taste experience.
The Jahrgangsbock from Brauhaus Faust is a sophisticated beer creation with manifold levels of flavor - Perfect for festive occasions!
