To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Belgian Chimay Trappist Brewery, this wonderful Belgian Strong Golden Ale was brewed Originally brewed as a limited edition for the occasion in 2012, the Chimay 150 2021 is now celebrating its comeback in the brewery's regular range

The world-famous Trappist beer from Belgium has been produced by the monks of the Notre Dame de Scourmont monastery in the municipality of Chimay since 1862 The traditional brewing process of the monks within the monastery and the second fermentation in the bottle characterize the Trappist beer Due to this special production, only eleven breweries (as of: January 2021) in the world can still be counted among the Trappist breweries By adding a small amount of candy sugar, the Belgian Strong Golden Ale undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, which creates the special taste of Chimay 150
