More information about COMPANION Sicilian Orange
As the name suggests, COMPANION Sicilian Orange is mainly made with organic Sicilian oranges. These come from the socially committed cooperative Si Puó Fare.
The peels of the oranges are mixed with gentian and violet roots as well as cinchona bark. In addition, aromatic herbs such as wormwood, marjoram and chiretta contribute to the complex flavor of the bitter liqueur.
Part of the mixture is distilled so that the finished COMPANION Sicilian Orange has the fresh color and full flavor of a macerate and the fine nose of a distillate. With a moderate alcohol content of 15% by volume, COMPANION Sicilian Orange follows the tradition of light, Mediterranean bitter liqueurs.
The cooperative Si Pua Fare Bio produces ecologically and socially sustainable. The best oranges of the harvest form the bitter-sweet base for this aperitivo. Splashed with Prosecco or soda, it is the perfect companion for any occasion.
