More information about Coopers Sparkling Ale
At Coopers, there is a clear instruction for the consumption of their delicious brews: "Roll the beer. Unlock the flavor" is the brewers' tip for getting the most out of their beers. The advice is based on the Coopers' special brewing method. All their creations are matured in the bottle or can and complete the fermentation process after bottling. This creates a layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle or can, which contains a whole lot of flavor. To enjoy this flavor and distribute it evenly in the beer, place the bottle or can on the table and gently roll it back and forth a few times. If you forget to do this, you can gently swirl the bottle as you would with Hefeweizen and pour it into the glass with the rest of the beer. But rolling is more fun.
Not shaken or stirred, rolled.
Sparkling ale should also be rolled. This classic was one of Coopers Brewery's first brews and was first brewed in 1862. The beer combines the fine spiciness of the brewery's own yeast strain with a successful balance of hops and malt. The well-carbonated barley juice tastes of lemongrass, ripe apples, oven-fresh bread, pine resin and caramel. A strong hop bitterness completes the interplay of aromas.
