More information about Feinkostdings plum and cinnamon fruit spread
We have the plums brought to me by the farmer straight after the harvest so that we can process them fresh and capture the full flavor for my spread.
And then it gets exotic. We add our beloved Tahitian vanilla and cinnamon. We only use real Ceylon cinnamon from Safran-Pütter. The Ceylon cinnamon tree is native to what is now Sri Lanka.
The focus is on the taste of the plum. We refine this with a little lemon juice and vanilla. And then we add a good pinch of cinnamon. We love it...
