"The Spirit of Friedrich Schiller" is a single malt whiskey made from regional barley malt. It is a tribute to Friedrich Schiller, the famous son of the town of Marbach am Neckar. The distillate matures for at least three years and one day in a 300-year-old vaulted cellar not far from the house where Friedrich Schiller was born.
The maturation takes place in barrels made of new American white oak. These heavily charred barrels give a natural color and many fine vanilla aromas to the distillate.

The Bühler distillery from Marbach am Neckar stands for fine distillates made from locally and organically grown fruit. Our philosophy is based on combining the traditional Swabian art of distilling with innovative ideas. Particularly close to our hearts is the preservation of the cultural landscape of meadow orchards with its old and regional fruit varieties. Since we use hand-picked and ripened fruits for our brandies, we are also strongly dependent on environmental influences. Therefore, we can only produce and offer a certain number of bottles per brandy each year. There are also slight differences in the vintages due to the natural raw materials.
