The basis for CARLS SINGLE MALT WHISKY are specially grown organic barley and special malt recipes in surrounding fields of the Harz foreland. The mash matures in a controlled manner and in a small-batch process the noble distillate is obtained in our distillery. In a traditional oak barrel aging of several years CARLS SINGLE MALT WHISKY gets its bright amber color. True to its origins, our Carls Single Malt presents itself with sustained aromatic notes of grain and fruit, a mild spiciness with hints of honey, chocolate, vanilla and caramel. On the palate, it develops a mild spiciness and retains the fruit, vanilla and caramel flavors in the finish. CARLS WHISKY is internationally awarded.
