More information about Marder Whisky Single Cask Sherry
This whisky was matured exclusively in 225-liter ex-sherry casks. Not just for the finish, but from day one.
Although this means that we have an enormously higher requirement for good and expensive casks, we are also rewarded with a much faster and more intensive maturation.
A whisky with a very dark amber color awaits us here. The aroma contains strong sherry notes and dried fruit, as well as a hint of honey. Cookie, toffee notes, roasted almonds and slightly herbal hints round off the taste.
Intense and full-bodied, never-ending fruity finish. Surprisingly round and mild for the high alcohol content.
Due to the bottling of only one cask (single cask) and this at cask strength, this whisky rarity is limited to only 347 numbered bottles and comes to you in a fine dark wooden box. Let yourself be inspired by this unique taste experience!

Marder brandies
Our philosophy is to bring out the flavors of nature as pure and unadulterated as possible, and to preserve them for you. The love for every single fruit comes into the glass for you. Our brandies are a harmoniously mild taste experience of a special kind. We are a family business in 3rd generation located in Albbruck - Unteralpfen a small village in the nature park Southern Black Forest, about 60 km south of Freiburg. Where the fruit allows, pure brandies are produced. Up to 20 kilograms of fruit are used for one bottle of distillate. Our assortment includes about 40 different brandies and some liqueurs made from berries, wild fruits, stone fruits, pome fruits, marc and beer.
