More information about Cuvée Dry Hopping
Brasserie Dupont's basic idea of creating a cuvée dates back to 2010, when the experiment was first carried out and the brewers' efforts were rewarded with great success: The first variant of the Cuvée Dry Hopping series was a real hit The team then brewed further examples and refined the recipe from year to year By dry hopping the beverage, the brewers conjure up a wonderfully intense, diverse hop aroma in the beer, which delivers a noble bitterness alongside manifold fruity notes The extra hops complement the strong spiciness of Belgian beers wonderfully and make Saison Dupont's Cuvée Dry Hopping a real treat for the palate
The fine drop flows into the glass in a shimmering coppery honey gold and is crowned with a hand's breadth of foam From the thick, creamy splendor in ivory rises a potpourri of oven-fresh yeast plait, green stone fruits, ripe banana and warm spices The first sip is surprisingly light-footed in view of the olfactory richness and is mildly carbonated The taste is composed of herbs, caramelized apples, toffee, spices, strong yeast, brown sugar and citrus fruits A perfectly balanced bitterness rounds off the interplay of aromas and ensures that the spicy sweetness does not take over
