More information about Elbe Valley
Aged in sherry casks, age 5½ years.
Distilled in January 2014 and bottled in September 2019. The raw material for our Elbe Valley Whisky - sherry/peat - is a barley malt blend of different roasting levels and peated barley malt. It was stored in Ahlerstedt and Jork in sherry casks of the sherry variety OLOROSSO.
- Aroma: sweet wine, slightly herbaceous
- Taste: caramel sweetness, light smoke, fresh fruit: citrus, grape.
- Finish: medium long with lingering sweetness and warming smoke.
