Stored in sherry casks, aged 5½ years
Distilled in January 2014 and bottled in September 2019. The raw material for our Elbe Valley whisky - sherry/peat - is a barley malt blend of various roasting stages and peated barley malt. It was matured in Ahlerstedt and Jork in sherry casks of the OLOROSSO sherry variety
- Aroma: sweet wine, slightly herbal
- Taste: Caramel sweetness, light smoke, fresh fruit: citrus, grape.
- Finish: Medium length with lingering sweetness and warming smoke
