The bouquet of the red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (5%), Malbec (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%) is just as impressive as the color: A hint of eucalyptus adds a fresh accent to the intense dark fruit aromas. Warm oak notes round off the great aroma of the Ernie Els Signature perfectly. Rich fruity notes pamper the palate and are accompanied by cherry tobacco and herbal nuances. The well-structured but silky tannins give the opulent red wine, which has matured for twenty months in French oak, a beautiful mouthfeel. You should therefore definitely enjoy this expressive red wine on its own, but the Ernie Els Signature is also a great accompaniment to aromatic dishes with dark meat or game.
