This Maragogype coffee from ETTLI is a single origin coffee made from the noble Maragogype bean, also known as the elephant bean. Superlatives do not always automatically prevail on the market. Despite its enormous size, the Maragogype bean has remained a rarity and grows primarily in South America, with the main growing areas in Nicaragua, Mexico and Guatemala. The plantations are generally located at altitudes of between 500 m and 1,200 m. Thanks to the French, the beans made it into European royalty shortly after their discovery and have lost none of their extravagance to this day. ETTLI's Maragogype coffee is a particularly gently roasted coffee, which increases the size of the Maragogype bean and allows it to develop its full aroma.
