The Fairview Sweet Red flows into the glass in a dark ruby red and reveals rich aromas of ripe plums and warm spices on the nose. On the palate, the cuvée of Petite Sirah (86%) and Tempranillo (14%) is beautifully balanced and structured. The dessert wine, refined with brandy, is matured for ten to twelve months in French oak and is a wonderful accompaniment to chocolate truffles or cherry cake. If you prefer something more savory, you should combine the Fairview Sweet Red with a delicious cheese platter.
