We are talking about the breweries Freigeist Bierkultur and Stillwater Artisanal, who have brought a number of talented winemakers on board for their latest joint project The craft brewers from Germany and America are known for their extraordinary and creative beers and have made a name for themselves in the business with their craftsmanship and bold flavors Together with the winemakers, they have created a series of beer-wine hybrids, for which a wild ale was fermented with grapes from different grape varieties and then refined for two years in oak barrels All beers are released in limited editions and are sold in elegant 0.75 l bottles

The collaboration partner for Hybrid Sequence 0002 is the 2Naturkinder winery The winegrowers' collective from Kitzingen produces natural wines from organic grapes and completely dispenses with artificial additives For the beer-wine hybrid, a wild ale was fermented with grapes from the Silvaner vine and then matured in wine barrels The result is a complex beer with a fine acidity and the fruity, fresh aroma of light grapes
