For many people, Friday is the best working day: the working week comes to an end, the weekend is just around the corner and the fun can begin. The best way to ring in the end of the working day is with the right companion. We recommend the heavily hoppy IPA Friday for this purpose.
Friday comes from the AND UNION label and is an American-style IPA with a Bavarian touch. The 6.5% beer is brewed with Chinook, Magnum and Simcoe hops and not only impresses with its wonderful color.
The Bavarian-American IPA flows into the glass in a deep, dark copper color. A small crown of white foam sits enthroned on the slightly cloudy body, exuding an irresistible aroma of vanilla crème brûlée, caramel and roasted malt. The first sip reveals a voluminous body with gentle carbonation. Juicy notes of sweet orange and subtly bitter orange peel tickle the taste buds with wonderful freshness. The citrus-sweet first sip is accompanied by the aroma of an oven-fresh peach cake: ripe fruit, a fluffy base and buttery crumble. The sweet variety of fruity hops and biscuity malt is balanced by a clean bitterness. The finish has a nutty touch and tastes malty and properly bitter.
AND UNIONs Friday is an excellent Friday evening beer and also tastes great on all other days of the week.
