Story

When a dreamy summer's day slowly draws to a close and the glowing rays of the setting evening sun color the dancing leaves of the lime tree in gold, the grove turns into a golden grove. At the foot of the Schönberg, we distil handcrafted spirits in small batches in close collaboration with Frank Küchlin from Böttchehof. Each bottle is created with absolute care, precision and genuine passion. Production takes place traditionally in a copper still, with a focus on purity, quality and character. When the cold season begins and the scent of apple, cinnamon and orange wafts through the streets, it's time for our Goldhain Glühpunsch, the original from the Black Forest.

Taste

Our Goldhain mulled punch seduces with an intense, harmonious taste experience that immediately warms the heart. It is based on naturally cloudy apple juice, which creates the perfect foundation with its fruity sweetness and light acidity. Added to this is the lively aroma of sun-ripened oranges, which provides a tangy freshness. Delicately tart cranberry notes give the punch depth, while a hint of ginger gently adds liveliness and a pleasant spiciness. The whole thing is rounded off by a lovingly composed spice blend of cinnamon, cloves and other wintry botanicals, which develop a festive spiciness, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too strong. The mulled punch is ready to drink, but can be further refined with apple juice according to taste. By the way: Goldhain Glühpunsch used to be sold under the name "Goldhain Glühgin", the recipe has remained the same, only the name has been changed.

Best Serve

Gently heat the Goldhain Glühpunsch in a saucepan, do not boil! Pour hot into a cup and garnish with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick. If you like it milder, simply add some naturally cloudy apple juice. Perfect for the cold season, Christmas or a cozy evening on the sofa.
