More information about Ombú Reserve Syrah 2017

The Ombú Reserve Syrah is our only Syrah in the range, a rather lighter Syrah with supple tannins. Modern, elegant and fine, with aromas of violets, coffee, a hint of black pepper and leather. 50% of the volume was matured in cement tanks, 50% for 6 months in barrique, a maturation that thus reveals restrained roasted aromas and a supple character.

Bracco Bosca

The coveted winery of Winery Bracco Bosca was founded in 2005, however its vineyards have been in the family for 5 generations. Originally from Piedmont, Italy, the family moved to Uruguay and settled in the Atlántida region to continue the wine tradition. It was Darwin Bracco and Mirtha Bosca who decided to buy the land and open a winery with the existing vineyards. In this place stands an ombú that impresses us by its mere presence and reminds us of the beauty of our homeland. A few years ago it was hit by a thunderstorm, but returned by the force of nature and is now stronger than ever. We firmly believe that true wealth is not found in material things, but in our land and the wines we can share with you.
