More information about HARAN Single Malt Whiskey
100% malt, limited production, matured for 8 years in Navarre oak barrels, refined with water from the Nervión spring, golden yellow color, aroma of malt, honey, nuts, citrus, orange blossom, vanilla and spices.
HARAN whiskey is distilled from 100% malt made from the finest barley using the traditional Scottish method. The master distillers at ACHA select barrels exclusively from the surrounding forests of Navarre for the 8-year maturation process. The final blend is brought to drinking strength with pure water from the river Nervión. HARAN is golden yellow with aromas of barley, malt, honey, citrus, vanilla and spices. It has finesse, complexity and is soft and silky on the palate. Very good to drink straight, but also mixed with max. 20% cool table water.

Destilería Acha
The distillery Destilerias Manuel Acha is located in the small sleepy village of Amurrio, about 20 km south of Bilbao. Here, the distillery has been producing the finest products since 1831, but it was only in recent years that it also focused on modern innovative spirits and began to export abroad with them. Two examples of the new modern way are Haran - one of the first whiskies from the Basque Country - and Runik - a rum blend that matured slowly for 8 years in the distillery's cellars. Manuel Acha is still a real insider tip with more than fair prices.
