The heads behind HELMUT are actually Markus and Nils. Moin! That's us. Former colleagues. Friends. Career changers. And since 2017, two-man vermouth manufacture from Hamburg.
Before HELMUT, Markus was regularly on the road in Barcelona. There he also rediscovered vermouth for himself. Back home, it was not only the sun and the Spanish lifestyle that were missing - but also the herbal aperitif.

A new approach to vermouth

We believe that a particularly good vermouth is made from particularly good wine. For this reason, the quality of the wine plays a decisive role at HELMUT.

The herbs and spices used are perfectly matched to the aromas of the wine - without masking it. This gives HELMUT its unique character, with a present wine and very harmonious herbal note. All wines for HELMUT vermouth come from the winery Bergdolt-Reif & Nett from the Palatinate.
