The Familia Irurtia winery was founded over a hundred years ago by Dante Irurtia and is therefore a true family business. Over the past decades, the company has had a lasting influence on the wine industry in Uruguay and today earns worldwide recognition for its premium wines. At the same time, every single bottle reflects the high art of winegrowing in 4 generations and is therefore something very special. This large winery is already 340 hectares in size, making it one of the largest in the country. But this does not diminish the cordiality that one encounters when visiting this winery. On the contrary, this is where rivers and friends meet and you feel immediately welcome.
