Our new 8-year-old is light and fresh, but also aromatic. The balance of the French oak barrel and its pre-fermentation with home-pressed, long-stored honey wine is captivating.

Bordeaux barrels with an intermediate layer of long-aged honey wine.
Worth knowing:
We like to use our own methods to offer products with their own character. Mead aged for a long time in white wine barrels, i.e. honey wine, offers an excellent North German alternative to sherry.

Isarnhoe distillery
We are a small distillery in Altenhof, which specializes in the production of rye whiskey and other grain specialties. Our single-variety apple liqueurs are real specialties and only available seasonally. Aquavit, gin and rum are also among our products. We develop and produce everything ourselves!
