Acmella oleracea, popularly known as jambu, is a typical herb from the northern region of Brazil and originally comes from South America. Jambu is used as a culinary spice in the Amazon region, especially for the preparation of the famous "molho-de-tucupi".

Chewing the leaves and flowers produces a tingling sensation on the lips and tongue due to their local anaesthetic effect, which is why they are used as an anaesthetic and appetite stimulant for toothache.

Unsere Verantwortung gegenüber lokalen Gemeinschaften und der Umwelt führte zur Schaffung der Bio-Version von Jambuzera. Wir produzieren mit Liebe und Respekt vor der Natur. Die Produktion beginnt im Amazonasgebiet, wo Edigar und seine Familie mit lokalen Bauern zusammenarbeiten, um Jambu anzubauen. Danach gelangt Jambu zu einer der besten Brennereien in Brasilien, wo alle Produktionsschritte in Übereinstimmung mit unserer ursprünglichen DNA stattfinden: ohne Zucker, Lebensmittelfarbstoffe oder industrielle Zusatzstoffe. Das Ergebnis ist ein einzigartiges, außergewöhnliches Erlebnis.
