Langley's Distillery, which was founded in London in 1902, has a very rich history in the production of gin and today belongs to the W.H. Palmer Group Ltd. The name "Langley's No. 8 Gin" was chosen for 2 reasons: Firstly, in reference to the 8 secret botanicals used to make this gin; secondly, when it was created, two different test groups chose the cask with the number 8 as the winner from 12 batches.
