More information about Marten Whisky Single Cask peated
This single malt whiskey is our first 10-year-old whiskey and was bottled at cask strength with 48.3% vol. Distilled from an aromatic barley malt with a small proportion of roasted malt. Maturation took place in an Islay cask, which gave the whiskey a particularly pleasant, slightly peaty note.
On the nose we find sweet aromas of caramel and vanilla, coupled with light citrus notes, the Islay cask remains discreetly in the background.
On the palate, very discreet and pleasantly mild, the smoky-peaty notes then come to the fore in the finish.
Due to the bottling of only one cask (single cask) and this in cask strength, this whiskey rarity is limited to only 296 numbered bottles and comes to you in a noble dark wooden box. Let yourself be inspired by this unique taste experience!
