More information about Marder herb brandy with alpine herbs
The basis of this herbal brandy is an apple mash. After filling the still, the dried herbs are sprinkled over the mash. The resulting alcohol vapors take the fine herbal aromas into the distillate. We obtain the herb mixture from Switzerland. It is based on the mixture of Ricola herbal sugar. There are 13 different herbs, with anise clearly dominating the smell, but the taste is very balanced, round and incredibly mild.
