MONUMENT Gin - Pinot Grigio infused Nahe Dry Gin

Through the passion for gin and the love for the wine regions of Pfalz and Nahe, Monument Gin - Pinot Gris Infused Gin was born. A straightforward gin, rounded with a fresh orange as well as a fine vanilla note.

The taste differs from the smell in the respect that the high proportion of juniper together with a fine spice comes to the fore. The oranges and the Pinot Gris coat the exquisite taste and give the final kick.

The gin is produced in small series. We use a 120 liter still for production to ensure quality on the one hand and individuality on the other.

The Pinot Gris: For our Monument Gin only one of the best Pinot Gris from the wine region Nahe came into question. This rested previously in a barrique barrel. This gives the Monument Gin a slight vanilla note without becoming obtrusive.

History:

The idea to create its own gin was born back in 2010. Even gin fan and collector, it was always the intention to produce a gin with local reference. Therefore, it quickly became clear that the upcoming gin should have a fine wine note. This idea was then ultimately approached in 2018 and developed to market maturity in 2019. The deep roots to the Palatinate (I am a native of Lautrer) and the wine-growing region Nahe (my current center of life), the choice quickly fell on a grape variety, which should find its way into the gin - the Pinot Gris.
