In times like these, when a senseless war is shaking Europe and tearing people in Ukraine out of their everyday lives overnight, we have to stick together and stand by each other The brewers of the craft beer scene are proving once again that they are a well-connected team by putting together a whole host of aid beers Within a very short time, brewers networked across national borders and began brewing collaboration brews, the proceeds of which will benefit our Ukrainian friends
One of these brews is MRIYA IPA, which is spelled Мріяя in Ukrainian and translates as dream The basic recipe comes from a joint effort by the Ukrainian brewery Underwood from Kiev and the team from the capital city brewery BRLO The brewers sat down at a virtual table and joined forces to create a beer They not only produce this brew in their own breweries, but are also encouraging other breweries to brew it and donate the proceeds to charity in aid of Ukraine There are now more than a handful of different interpretations of India Pale Ales from all corners of Europe
BRLO and Underwood's version is a 6.0%-strength beer that combines smooth malt with juicy and palatable tropical fruit Let's get a little closer to the dream of peace with this beer!

By the way, BRLO is the old Slavic name for Berlin and can only be pronounced without mistakes after a few beers. A Franconian, a Berliner and a Mecklenburger founded the Berlin beer brand BRLO in 2014. Two of them, Katharina Kurz and Christian Laase, already know each other from their studies.
