Orange, mint, algae, carrot or hibiscus - anything is possible with New Western Style Gins.

One of the most important types of gin is New Western Gin, also known as New Western Dry Gin or New Western Style Gin. It is one of the newest gin styles and also the most important in the hype that we have been experiencing for some years now. With New Western Dry Gin, the juniper aroma is no longer the dominant feature, but all the other botanicals. Although juniper can still be tasted and is still dominant, one or more other flavors take on the leading role in terms of taste.

What do I need to know about New Western Dry Gin?

Due to the balance between juniper and the other flavors, many New Western style gins can be drunk straight. It is also thanks to the movement of this style that there is now an incredible variety. Almost every wish can be catered for. Whether a gin with sugar kelp from the North Sea, with coffee or one with kaffir lime leaves, orange, nutmeg and cubeb pepper as lead botanicals - there are no longer any limits to creations thanks to this style.

Thanks to the breadth of flavors in New Western Dry Gins, cocktails, among other things, have become even more exciting.
