No 750 Apothecary's Christmas Spirit

The idea for our Christmas Spirit grew out of an Advent tradition: Every year on the last Sunday of Advent, friends come for Advent coffee, at which Mother's unsurpassed home-baked Christmas cookies and, of course, our homemade mulled wine are served. Its composition of a good red wine and almost a dozen spices regularly caused such enthusiasm that it was obvious to create a spirit with this recipe.

However, this turned out to be much more difficult than initially thought. Since the red wine was missing as an important flavor-balancing base, individual components stood out too strongly during the first attempts. In our internal tastings, there were regular deductions for this. But in the end, the apothecary's own meticulousness and patience paid off, and a beautiful, well-coordinated spirit was created that must be legally labeled as a spirit.

The Christmas aromas of rich citrus, cinnamon, various classic gingerbread spices and, of course, a hint of vanilla are wonderfully smoothly integrated into our particularly fine alcohol. Its enjoyment guarantees Christmas feelings even in summer temperatures!
