The Ink Gin from edelranz is a rebel among its peers. A somewhat different, but still classic Dry Gin, which contains at least one botanical from each continent and thus unites the world in one bottle.
It captivates not only with its deep blue color, but also with its unique taste and unusual bottle design, which is reminiscent of an old inkwell due to its cubic shape.
Aroma Profile:
The olfactory palette begins with subtle floral notes, which are followed by distinct juniper and fresh citrus notes. A gentle and unobtrusive sweetness with earthy-leathery hints can be perceived in the finish.
Taste Profile:
A very smooth gin with a full aroma and a pleasant and smooth oily texture. The flavor profile is complex and layered due to its phased development of flavors on the tongue. Initially clear juniper with light floral hints. Followed by ethereal - and citrus notes, which are dominated by orange. Then an earthy-woody composition, caused by the sweet & sandalwood. In the finish, the acacia flower completes the bouquet and gives the gin its final touch with a long aromatic reverberation. When topped up with tonic, the special, complex and mild bouquet unfolds.
