Sauvignon Blanc

The aroma is often described as refreshing and fruity with notes of citrus fruits such as lime, grapefruit and lemon. Sometimes aromas of green apple, gooseberry, pirsich, fresh grass, mint or even a slight herbaceous note are also attributed to this grape.

"Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon are two excellent grape varieties that are perfect for exclusive food pairings thanks to their intense flavors. It is not without reason that both are internationally known and appreciated and are mainly used for wine.

Naturally, these grape varieties have more fruit sweetness than our WILD Grape Red. At Obsthof Retter, we achieve the fine and balanced balance between fruit acidity and sweetness in these two varietal newcomers through the selection of optimal growing sites, the ideal harvest time, our many years of experience in processing and finally a storage period of more than 6 months behind the walls of the Pöllauer Schlosskeller.

1/16 in a white wine glass, drinking temperature: 9 - 11 °C. Our WELL Sauvignon Blanc white is particularly suitable as a non-alcoholic accompaniment to fish or light meat dishes, wholefood dishes or desserts
