Cultivation:
On our own plantations in Azerbaijan, the pomegranate variety Aserbaij-Queen is cultivated. This is considered by experts to be one of the best pomegranate varieties in the world. Granata focuses on the production of a natural organic pomegranate juice from controlled cultivation. Organic Pomegranate Juice is made from sun-ripened, hand-picked organic pomegranates grown in a temperate to subtropical climate of Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea. Our organic pomegranate plantations cover large areas. These are tended by experienced workers. Due to the warm sunshine during the day, alternating with the very cool downdrafts of the Caucasus Mountains in the evening and night hours, the organic pomegranates develop a relatively high fructose content. This has a very positive effect on the special taste of our organic pomegranate juice.

Production:
The complete organic pomegranate juice production is based on the most modern technology from Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland. We use only the red organic pomegranate seeds (approx. 5 kg per liter) for the pressing of the organic pomegranate juice. We guarantee that our organic pomegranate juice is 100% organic pomegranate direct juice. Our organic pomegranate juice complies with all European regulations. We have the Institut Prof. Dr. Georg Kurz GmbH certificate. Current analysis samples confirmed that it is a pure direct juice. Since 2011, our parent company in Azerbaijan as well as our distribution in the Federal Republic of Germany has been Bio Certified by Lacon GmbH.
