During my academic training as a development economist, I was already intensively involved with the international coffee market and the well-known problem of price speculation of coffee on the stock exchanges in London and New York. The impressive visit to the coffee farm in Pedra Menina in 2018, was an incisive experience and ultimately convinced me that I will fully dedicate myself to the topic of "specialty coffee" in the future.

With the family in Pedra Menina, I have a great partner at my side to offer Frahling lovers in Germany high-quality coffee beans as well as a new taste experience. Together with an exporter in Portugal and a family-run traditional roastery in Germany, the supply chain between Brazil and Germany is closed.

For the first-class quality of its coffee beans, the family-run coffee-growing region in Brazil has won more than 40 regional and national awards. Among the prestigious awards is the honorable Coffee of the Year Brasil Award from 2016 & 2018. For over three generations, the farm has been family-owned and continues to be professionally managed with passion.
