More information about Remhoogte Honeybunch Chenin Blanc 2021
The grapes used for the Remhoogte Honeybunch Chenin Blanc come from a 35-year-old vineyard in a single vineyard site and deliver a white wine that shimmers a pale golden hue in the glass. The bouquet already reveals the multi-layered character of Remhoogte Honeybunch Chenin Blanc: aromas of orange and acacia blossoms give the wine a floral component, while notes of apricots, peaches and tangerines provide the fruity character. Nuances of toasted almonds successfully round out the first impression. On the palate, the rich fruit flavors are underpinned by a fresh acidity and honey notes. The latter are also partly responsible for the name of the Remhoogte Honeybunch Chenin Blanc. Incidentally, the grapes owe their honey character to the sunshine in the vineyard. Enjoy this unique white wine, which was aged for twelve months in oak, either neat with fish or poultry dishes.
