More information about Sparkling wine-sparkling wine hybrid
Beverage style: malt sparkling wine
If you look closely, wine and beer are not so very different. Both require a high degree of craftsmanship and expertise to produce, first-class quality raw materials are needed to produce them and the end result is an alcoholic beverage that goes wonderfully with exquisite food, festive occasions and entertaining company.
For a long time, wine stood above beer in the hierarchy of good taste: it was considered more refined, more complex and more noble than barley juice and was served by sommeliers with exquisite food. Today, beer and wine are on roughly the same level and this is largely thanks to the craft beer movement. Creative brewers have broken down the boundaries of traditional beer styles and opened up the beer market to multi-layered, aroma-intensive brews. As a result, there are now sommeliers who focus exclusively on beer.
The Sparkling Wine from Sakiškių alus is a successful marriage of the two beverages. Its 11.5% strength combines the best malt with the juice of tasty Muscat grapes from Italy. The result of this process is a treat for the palate that combines the dry character of a good white wine with the soft sweetness of gently roasted malt. The dominant aroma and flavor component is the Muscat grape, which has a fruity and floral aroma that goes wonderfully with the sun-ripened grain.
