Schildchen Bräu is craft beer, made with a lot of love for the art of brewing. The recipes are developed in Bergisch Gladbach-Schildgen and then brewed in small quantities exclusively at a local partner brewery - Because regionality is good and important!

The use of high-quality raw materials, real manual labor in the brewing process and a lot of attention to detail ensure a very special beer pleasure. At the same time, Schildchen Bräu is a genuine natural product, unfiltered and without artificial additives for full flavor and full enjoyment - craftsmanship that you can simply taste!

Owner Martin Büchel got to know his love for good beer and brewing a few years ago on a trip around the world. He ordered ingredients and materials while still at the airport and brewed his first own beer in his own kitchen immediately after his return. A lot has happened since then. Martin describes himself as a hobby brewer, but his products testify to rock-solid expertise and a great willingness to experiment.

In the meantime, he brews his beers according to his own recipe at a partner brewery and thus shares his passion for good and honest craft beers.
