The Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Satin Royale 2018 is a Prestige Cap Classique made with hand-picked Chardonnay grapes from the best vineyards in Stellenbosch. Inspired by the fine French model, this sparkling wine was produced with the utmost care using the traditional bottle fermentation method.
After the second fermentation in the bottle, the Satin Royale matures for at least 36 months on the lees, giving it a particularly fine perlage and luxurious depth. The nose reveals notes of yellow fruits, white flowers and a hint of caramelized brioche aromas. On the palate, the Cap Classique is creamy, round and lively - with subtle sweetness, balanced freshness and an elegant, long finish.
This fine sparkling wine is the perfect choice for festive occasions - whether as an aperitif, with salads, seafood or poultry. Particularly recommended with lemon chicken with herbs.
