More information about Spier Seaward Chenin Blanc 2021

The Spier Seaward Chenin Blanc sparkles in a light golden hue in the glass. The grapes for the white wine come from the Tygerberg Hills and Stellenbosch and benefit in both locations from the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the cooling wind - and you can taste that, too, because the Spier Seaward Chenin Blanc scores with aromas of citrus, peach and lime. Since the wine was aged for ten months in French oak, there is also a slight honey note. Nuances of ripe fruit also unfold on the palate, and the finish is marked by fresh lime flavors. Enjoy the Spier Seaward Chenin Blanc best with grilled chicken or spicy pasta. But also pure, the complex white wine is always a pleasure.
