St. Kilian Distillers is launching a heavily peated heavy metal edition with the St. Killian Grave Digger single malt whisky. Inspired by the heavy metal band in Germany Grave Digger. This band has been one of the most influential bands in the German metal scene for more than 40 years.
The Grave Digger TUNES OF WAR single malt whisky matures in 225 liter ex-red wine barrels. It is a Heavily Peated Whisky with 54 ppm.
The barley malt used comes from the Scottish Highlands.

More than a thousand years after the triumph of whisky, three men came together on a mission, with "aqua vitae" close to their hearts. By aging in barrels, the art of whiskey production in Germany had been advanced to date by distillers on domestic stills.
